First Annual Talent Show :)

Yeppers! Today was the big day! You could feel the excitement in the air thru the building....it was Talent Show day! There were 22 acts with 33 participants. Not bad for the first time out :) Isaac was super stoked....or at least he was thinking he was. He had BOTH the CD and his ipod with his song on them....just in case one wouldn't be enough *giggle* He took to the stage - didn't look at a soul and started in.....

Thankfully both mom & Alexander (taking yearbook photos....hmmmm...wonder where he gets that from???) were sitting on the floor in front and I was able to tell him "groove it"...once he heard that, he broke out of his nerves and he started to bust a move....and once he got into it, the kids REALLY got into it! They we clapping and hollering and cheering! It was AWESOME!!! We saw the running man, the robot, and a bunch of other funky moves that just rocked the stage - along with his singing *giggle*......and in the end, the whole elementary erupted into a standing ovation. Yup, mom got a little teary eyed. Here was my boy who won't look at a group of strangers hardly up on stage bringing down the house!!! How cool was that!?!?! This is the same boy who when he was little would perseverate on Thomas. The same little boy who was the picture of ASD....Look at how far he has come.....wow! Yeppers, I was pretty proud :)
